Careful and climate-friendly use of energy and raw materials is on everyone’s lips. Everyone’s talking about climate protection. But the topic is anything but new for Lubig. We’ve always avoided waste and residual materials, and separated our oil. The use of reusable packaging has also long been part of our processes.

Recycling & disposal
First and foremost is the will to prevent the recycling or disposal of waste products by using small quantities of resources. Strict separation of waste and precise separation of machining chips results in a high proportion of recyclable materials and a cost-optimized disposal strategy. Coordinating disposal routes and fractionating in accordance with the German Waste Management Act, together with commissioning exclusively certified specialist companies, ensure that these residues are handled in an accountable, compliant and, as much as possible, environmentally friendly manner.
Recyclable packaging
The goal here is a “as good as possible, as much as necessary.” In close coordination with the customer, we use their permanent packaging in the customer exchange system. When this isn’t possible, packaging based on renewable raw materials is used repeatedly as returnable packaging. Protecting surfaces as part of a technical coating is given preference over the use of protective packaging materials.
Energy efficiency
By regularly replacing machines as part of our investment planning, we improve both the number of consumers and the consumption of the drives themselves. Modern LED lighting ensures maximum efficiency in production and our offices. Regular employee training supports personal efficiency, whether turn off lights or energy use in production. We regard all types of energy used equally.
